WYOMING STATE WINNER!

Lucy Martinez

Poetry OutLoud Competition

Lucy Martinez traveled to Washington D.C. with Summit High School English Teacher, Kristie Ralston
to compete at the National Recitation Poetry OutLoud Contest sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts.

For the competition, Lucy recited 2 of her 3 prepared poems:

"Life in a Love" by Browning
"Refusing Silence" by Gallager

Although Lucy wasn't one of the national finalists,
she represented Wyoming and Summit High School very well.
We're PROUD of you, Lucy!
