JHMS Hosts Scripps National Spelling Bee

RELINQUISH is the winning word for the JHMS Scripps National Spelling Bee. 

Chris Bessonette Milken Family Foundation Honoree

Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow is visiting Munger Mountain Elementary School to mark the new building's first year. But is that the only reason she's here? Watch as Balow and Greg Gallagher, senior program administrator for the Milken Family Foundation, surprise second-grade dual immersion teacher Chris Bessonette with Wyoming's 2018-19 Milken Educator Award and a huge $25,000 check. What a way to start the new year!

Parent University - Math at the Middle School

Monday, October 22nd we will host our second Parent University from 6-7PM. We will share information on our Math curriculum, tips on supporting your child and provide an opportunity for questions. Please join us this Monday!

One Book One Community

ONE BOOK ONE COMMUNITY is a summer reading program for all upcoming 5th and 6th grade students.  

With a generous donation from Teton County Library Foundation, all students were provided with a copy of Towers Falling by author Jewell Parker Rhodes.  Students will read it over the summer and participate in 3 self-selected activities related to the book.

Rising 6th Graders

Attached is the presentation given to the parents of incoming 6th grade parents on May 21st.   Click here to view the presentation. 

Also attached for your reference is the 2018-2019 school year calendar.  District calendars are available on the district website as well, www.tcsd.org.

Lastly, Jackson Hole Middle School is considering providing families of 6th grade students the option to purchase the needed school supplies directly from the school.  The cost would be $25.  Please complete the following survey to help us determine interest level in this this option.  School Supplies Survey.
