JHHS BAND & CHOIR STUDENTS SELECTED FOR HONOR GROUPS

Several Jackson Hole High School band and choir students were selected to perform as part of the WHSAA/WMEA Southwest District High School Honor Band and Choir event held in Kemmerer on November 20 & 21.

These honor groups featured over 160 outstanding band and choir members from Jackson, Big Piney, Cokeville, Evanston, Kemmerer, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale and Star Valley.  

The JHHS Band members who were selected for this performance are Kasen Arriola (tenor saxophone), Katya Flores (flute), Giselle Garcia-Cisneros (trumpet), John Kim (percussion), Annika Peacock (flute), Jamison Peacock (clarinet), Estefani Quiroz-Robles (flute) and David Stout (alto saxophone).     The JHHS Choir members who were selected are Stuart Allen (bass), Mila Berry (soprano), Tyler Buschow (bass) and Emily Ransom (alto).

Each honor group rehearsed both days under the direction of guest conductors.  They then performed a concert in the Kemmerer High School Auditorium.
