TCSD #1 is partnering with local private schools, community organizations and service providers to host Parent Connections, the first of three Kindergarten through 12th grade parenting information nights.
The first event is Thursday, December 7th from 5:30-7pm at the Jackson Hole Middle School.
Parents will have the opportunity to attend two 30 minute sessions on topics including:
-Positive discipline practices with your elementary age child
-Pre-teen/teen dating and healthy relationships
-Managing youth stress and anxiety
-Teen alcohol and drug use trends
Sessions will be lead by community organizations including Community Safety Network, Curran Seeley, Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center, Teton Youth and Family Services, Teton Literacy, and Growing Great Families/Rachel Wigglesworth.
Come learn more about supporting your child as they grow and move through the various developmental stages and find out what community resources are available to help through this important process.
This event is free and open to all parents of 5-18 year olds. Translation will be provided. Childcare is not available for this event but will be available at future sessions.
