Welcome to 4th grade! I am very excited to be at Wilson teaching 4th grade and working with all of your children!
Let me tell you a little about myself:
I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Jackson in 1994. I am married and have two girls. Our family, like many of you, enjoy lots of outdoor activities such as alpine and nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, and camping.
I started my teaching experience here at Wilson Elementary as a volunteer in a third-grade classroom, then a student teacher, then a long-term substitute in 2nd and 5th grade. I was also a long-term sub in 3rd grade at Colter Elementary School. I spent 6 years teaching 5th grade at Colter Elementary School. Two years ago I moved back to Wilson Elementary to teach 4th grade and look forward to another great year!
I look forward to seeing all the kids on Tuesday, September 3rd when the school bell rings at 8:10 and we get the day started at 8:15!
