Meet the Counselors
Stephanie Sloan, Counselor for all 8th Grade Students and 7th Grade Students who have Ms Kaiser for Language Arts
I love working with middle school students because they are discovering so many new things about life! In addition, the staff at JHMS is top notch. I was born and raised in Wyoming and feel fortunate to have landed in Jackson with all it has to offer. I earned B.A.s in both Psychology and Fine Art from the University of Montana, a M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alaska and a school counseling endorsement from the University of Wyoming. In my free time I love to travel with my husband, hike with my two dogs, kayak, garden and hang out at coffee shops with a good book.
Elise Stiegler, Counselor for all 6th Grade Students and 7th Grade Students who have Ms. Marlar for Language Arts
'If you enjoy what you do, you will never work another day in your life' -Confucius
Middle school students are always full of energy and that is why I love working here! Plus, I get the added benefit of living among some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. I am originally from Jackson and was fortunate enough to spend my childhood and adolescence in both Wyoming and Eugene, Oregon. I received a B.S. in psychology from Northern Arizona University and M.Ed. in School Counseling from Montana State University. Skiing is part of my family's DNA and a passion of mine as well. You can also find me floating down rivers, mountain biking, playing music and delving into a good book.
Shelly Paciulli, Registrar I was born and raised on Bainbridge Island, just a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. After graduating from the University of Washington I had the pleasure of working in environments that directly served the diverse needs of the Seattle community as an Administrative Director of an assisted living facility and later a Business Manager for a branch of the YMCA. I've enjoyed living here and all that this amazing community has to offer. I look forward to another exciting school year.
Please feel free to visit our Student Center Office and meet with our counselors.
