Counselor's Corner

This will be my fifth year as the school counselor at Colter Elementary and my sixth year working as a school counselor overall. I was born and raised here in Jackson, I graduated from JHHS in 2005 and went on to get my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University. I spent two years in Teton County School District working as a paraprofessional before I went back to graduate school. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Wyoming and worked for one year in Idaho Falls as an elementary school counselor. Fortunately, a position opened up in Teton County and I was able to return to Jackson. I have my Provisional Professional License in Mental Health as well and am working to become a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I love all that Jackson has to offer; I am an avid mountain biker, hiker and trail runner and I love spending time with family who have all rreturned home to Jackson. School Counseling is my passion, I truly enjoy building relationships with students, their families and our staff. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns and please always stop by my office to say hello!
