Dear Jackson Elementary School Parents,
Welcome to the beginning of the 2019-20 school year! We are excited to have our JES Falcons back to school. Last year, we celebrated student growth and success throughout the school year with our theme of “Watch Us Soar.” Since we said goodbye to students in June, our facilities department, office and custodial staffs, teachers, and principals have been preparing for this new year. We are eager to have students back in our classrooms for another great year!
I am honored to serve as the Jackson Elementary principal. As a 19-year veteran of TCSD, I have been a K-5 principal in the other elementaries in our district for 13 years, and I am thrilled to be a part of the JES team as it works together to make it a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environment for student learning. One benefit of a K-5 school is the increased opportunity for relationships with the students and parents to be developed and nurtured, as students will attend the same school for up to six years. Getting to know all of the JES students and their families is important to me, so please take a moment to introduce yourself when you are visiting JES.
Looking forward to a great year of learning,
Tracy Poduska
