Step 1: Student Expressed Interest |
Students express interest either using the Encore Registration Form or by emailing their grade level counselor.

Step 2: Student & Parent/Guardian Informational Night |
Interested/nominated students and their families/guardians will receive a letter inviting them to attend the AVID Information Night, so they can learn more about AVID.

Step 3: Submit Application |
AVID applications must be completed and submitted by April 15.
|
|||
Step 4: Request Teacher Recommendations |
Students must ask one or more current or previous teachers to complete a recommendation survey. (Link) |

Step 5: AVID Interviews |
Interviews with AVID staff members will be scheduled in April and May. |

Students who are selected to be in AVID for the following school year will be informed in late May.
