11-11-19 newsletter

Thank you so much for taking the time to attend conferences and thank you to the kids who were able to attend!

This week in math we will focus on least common multiples and least common factors which will help when simplifying fractions. In writing, we will complete our memoirs. We started a decomposition experiment in science last Thursday. We have earthworms in a tub with newspaper and sliced apples. Let's see what happens!!

I will be out of the classroom this Thursday morning. I am on the district science team and we have a half-day meeting. I have a wonderful sub who used to be a fifth-grade teacher in our district, so I expect it to be "business as usual" in the classroom.

Upcoming Events:

Nov. 13th: Picture Retake Day

Nov. 22nd Grizzly Gathering

Nov. 25-29: Thanksgiving Week Break
